Significant increases in rear wheel horsepower have been seen when installed with a matching BBK shorty X pipe.
Quality Construction. BBK Long Tube Exhaust headers are manufactured from 1-3/4-inch CNC mandrel bent tubing for unrestricted airflow. And feature one piece laser cut 3/8-inch header flanges for added strength, leak-free performance and OEM fit. These headers are then completed in a bright chrome or Ceramic Coated finish for good looks and a long life.
Recommended Upgrade. To realize the full power potential that these Long Tube Headers have to offer, Auto Mafia Racing recommends a custom tune with a Mustang Handheld Tuner to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) for proper operation.
Additional Required S197 Upgrades. Installation of these BBK Long Tube Headers on a 2011-2014 S197 V6 Mustang will require the use of a BBK Shorty Mid-Pipe, part# 1461 for proper installation.
Additional Required S550 Upgrades. Installation of these BBK Long Tube Headers on a 2015-2017 S550 V6 Mustang will require the use of a BBK Shorty Mid-Pipe, part# 1465 and a Front O2 Wire Harness Extension, part #1119, for proper installation.
Application. These BBK Long Tube Headers are specifically designed to fit the 2011-2017 Mustangs equipped with the 3.7L V6 engine.
