The CVF Race Intercooler for 2015-2021 Ford Mustang EcoBoost is a direct fit replacement that is over 200% larger than the stock unit, featuring a core size of 21" x 15" x 4". As the charts above indicate, during independent testing we've observed a reduction of 92 degrees in Charge Air Temperature where it matters: on the street, and not at the dyno (the same vehicle under similar conditions).
EXCEPTIONAL CONSTRUCTION FOR MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY
Manufactured from top-grade aluminum, the CVF Race Intercooler features a TIG-welded bar-and-plate core design for maximum durability and computer-modeled, fully cast end tanks to ensure better airflow efficiency than the competition's welded aluminum end tanks. Additionally, the computer-aided design optimizes the flow of air, minimizing pressure loss.
APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION
While not required, the CVF Aluminum Intercooler Charge Pipe Kit is recommended. The OEM piping will fit, but the additional kit includes larger couplers for a much smoother installation as the intercooler's inlet/outlet are .5" larger than stock for performance-related design reasons. This intercooler is specifically designed to fit both the automatic and manual 2015-2021 EcoBoost Mustangs equipped with the turbocharged 2.3L I4 engine.
